thermal analyzerIt is a sample pretreatment device in the gas chromatograph analysis and detection system. It mainly uses physical methods to heat and adsorb the sample, so as to achieve the purpose of purifying the sample. Then, why should the sample be pretreated?
The benefits of sample pretreatment are twofold:
First, through purification and crystallization treatment, the sample can be equipped to reach the specified concentration.
Second, remove the impurities in the sample to prevent impurities from affecting the accuracy of the sample test results, and even block the precision devices in the gas chromatograph equipment, such as: chromatographic column, six-way valve, quantitative ring, etc., whether in the gas chromatograph detection In, or in the analysis of liquid chromatograph, sample pretreatment is an essential link.
In the sample processing of the gas chromatograph, the working principle of the thermal analyzer is to inject the sample to be measured into the adsorption tube filled with the adsorbent (the filler in the adsorption tube of the thermal analyzer must determine the appropriate adsorbent according to the nature of the sampled sample), in which the volatile components are adsorbed and eliminated, and the remaining sample in the adsorption tube is heated to desorb the collected volatile organic compounds. The sample to be tested enters a capillary column gas chromatograph equipped with a flame ionization detector with an inert carrier gas for analysis.
The thermal analyzer has the advantages of convenient sampling, fast inspection and accurate quantification, and is widely used in the gas chromatograph analysis system.
