After the gas chromatograph is stopped, open the side panel and back panel of the instrument, and purge the dust of the instrument with instrument air or nitrogen, otherwise it will cause more dust or difficult to remove. Use a soft bristle brush to treat the place, and after cleaning, scrub the place where the instrument is contaminated with water or solvent. For water-soluble substances, you can wipe with water first, and the places that cannot be cleaned can be treated with solvents. For materials that are insoluble in water or may react with water, use solvents that do not react with them to clean the reacted materials.

2. Circuit board maintenance and cleaning
Before the gas chromatograph is ready for service, cut off the power supply of the instrument and purge the circuit board and circuit board slot with instrument air or nitrogen. When scanning, carefully clean the dust part of the circuit board and slot with a soft brush, and try to wear gloves when operating. Static electricity or sweat on the hands will affect some components on the circuit board. After the cleaning work is completed, carefully observe the use of the circuit board to see if the printed circuit board or electronic components have obvious corrosion, use absorbent cotton dipped in alcohol to carefully wipe the contaminated electronic components and printed circuits on the circuit board, and wipe the circuit board interface and socket.
3. Cleaning of injection port
During maintenance, the gas chromatograph inlet glass liner, diverter plate, inlet shunt line, EPC and other components. Cleaning of the glass liner and splitter plate: carefully remove the glass liner from the instrument, carefully remove the glass wool and other impurities in the liner with tweezers or other small tools, and do not scratch the surface of the liner during the removal process. If conditions permit, the preliminarily cleaned glass lining can be cleaned with sound waves in a solvent, used after drying, or directly cleaned with other solvents, and dried for standby.
4. Cleaning of TCD and FID detectors
The TCD detector may be contaminated by sediment flowing from the column or other substances entrained in the sample during use. Once the TCD detector is contaminated, the baseline of the instrument will jitter and the noise will increase. HP's TCD The detector can be hot cleaned by the following methods: turn off the detector, remove the column from the detector connector, insert the detector connector into the column box, set the reference gas flow rate to ~ ml/min, set the detector temperature to °C, and heat and clean For ~ h, use after cooling, this method can be used for household or Nissan TCD detector contamination.
