The specific operation method of the secondary thermal analyzer:
1. Set the temperature.
Turn on the power switch, press the set button (A/M) for 2 seconds, and the instrument enters the set temperature state. At this time, the decimal point one (single digit) after the set value starts to blink (like the cursor). The increase key (STOP) can increase the value, the decrease key (RUN/HOLD) can decrease the value, and the shift key (A/M) can change the position of the cursor. After setting the temperature to an appropriate value, press the setting key (A/M) to complete the setting state, turn on the working switch, and quickly rise to the set temperature. After setting the temperature, it can be started directly without setting it every time. When the instrument leaves the factory, the temperature control system has been optimized and does not need to be reset.
2. Set the carrier flow.
Connect nitrogen, open the gas source, ensure the pressure of 0.2Mpa, insert the sampling tube into the pyrolysis absorber, and adjust the purge gas to an appropriate flow rate.
3. Operating procedures.
Insert the sampling tube to be desorb into the quick plug. When the measured value of the instrument is similar to the set value temperature, insert the quick plug and sampling tube into the heating furnace, rotate the quick plug handle clockwise to adjust the sealing degree to ensure the sealing performance of the system. Insert a 100ml syringe into the outlet of the pyrolyzer, insert the sampling tube into the heating furnace for 2-3 minutes, open the heating valve switch, and use a stopwatch to chronograph and desorb 100ml, with a heating flow rate of 100 ml/t(min). When desorbing 100ml, close the heating valve, remove the 100ml syringe, rotate the quick plug handle counterclockwise, take out the sampling tube, and complete the thermal desorption process.
